Short Hiatus

April's gonna be a busy month. I have no idea if I will have any time to update all my social media networks (Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, etc.) but it's good to take a break from the Internet once in a while. Frankly, I'm too tired to do much after work but crash on the bed or turn into a himono-onna. So I declare a short hiatus until I see fit to blog more regularly which will probably only occur after the 22nd of April.

Movies I've watched recently: Hunger Games (alright movie), One For The Money (I am unable to resist any kind of chick flick.) and Clash of the Titans (meh).

TV shows: Still trying to catch with my TV shows (How I Met Your Mother & New Girl) and I just might pick up Glee again seeing their cover of We Are Young seems to do the song justice. Except that I disagree that it's better than the original.

Check out the Glee performance of We Are Young here! :D

On the Korean drama/movie front: I've just wrapped up Dream High 2 last week and there'…

A Song About Bobbed Hair

Just a random post seeing that it's close to midnight and I've got nothing to do...

Can't believe there's actually an old Korean classic song called Bobbed Hair about ladies with short hair! Originally sung by someone else but popularized by the legendary Cho Young Pil.

Catch Cho Young Pil's version here (it's a hoot!):

Of course, I got to know the song by JB and Kang So Ra's bright and sunny version in Dream High 2 (episode 12)! :D It's a really cute song and I totally like it even without understanding the lyrics...

Cuteness abounds!
P.S. I'm still fairly annoyed with the new Blogger interface. I know it's supposed to make my life easier but it still manages to make itself more of a nuisance to me.

JB & Jr.'s JYP Audition Video!

This just totally made my day! Especially when they performed Balloons by TVXQ!!!  ^^

John Carter Quickie!

Reason for watching: This poster and this poster alone! Warrior Gambit? I'm so there! I didn't even need to watch a trailer or read reviews to watch this one.

1) Taylor Kitsch and Lynn Collins both acted in the Wolverine movie with Hugh Jackman. Lynn Collins looks virtually unrecognizable and super fit! She also looks Malaysian/Filipino with that hair colour and skin tone. XD

2) This movie has been in development hell for 79 years! But rejoice, as it looks a lot better now than it would have in 1931.

Princess Dejah Thoris
Synopsis from Wikipedia: The film is largely based on A Princess of Mars the first novel to feature the hero John Carter. In both the novel and film John Carter is a former American Civil War Confederate Army captain who is mysteriously transported to Mars, which is known to its inhabitants as Barsoom. In the course of his first adventures there Carter learns the planet is dying from the loss of its atmosphere and water. Only a peaceful alliance of …

Park Seo Joon in Dream High 2!

I know this is old news but I couldn't resist highlighting this. Park Seo Jun, as in the guy who got shot at multiple times in Bang Yong Guk's video I Remember is acting as Si Woo in Dream High 2! Plus he is the only age-appropriate crush I can have in Dream High 2 because I'm noonas to the rest of them!

Did I mention that he looks like a hot kisser? Tee hee!

Just for the record, I totally ship the Rubik couple. Even though the drama looks totally unpredictable (I have NO idea where they are going), I can't resist the idol-fan relationship angle, haha. Besides that, JB's pretty cute (for a JYP trainee who hasn't debuted properly yet) and his rendition of When I Can't Sing has been playing on repeat since I first heard it!

I didn't realize it was a JYP song as it was sung by Se7en, but it turns out that JYP actually wrote the song for himself but Se7en begged to be able to sing it. I think I like JB's version because his character has so much in comm…
